new psp user, i have downloaded d latest psp game named boomberman, open with WinRAR and unrar to get the iso file, but before that i used the latest ultimate easy installler from chaos zero updated my psp with devhook 0.46 + FW2.71 emulator in. all cool
but the game still cant load, on top are the setting i used to load it , did i make any wrong setting ? [COLOR="Red"]can the game load from memory stick [/COLOR]cos i dont have any umd disc load on my psp, is there possible to load my game too?. and one last thing, i still dont really understand [COLOR="Red"]which version am i using now[/COLOR] . is it the fw ver.:1.05.0001 based on that i get on top? so can i play homebrew game ?
just wan to play boomberman. so miss it

im not sure it is a iso
did they make bomber man for tghe psp ? (idont think so )
maybe it is a rom how big is the file ?

they made bomberman for the psp

you need a UMD in to boot the iso file.

too bad i dont have a UMD disc.

i dont know where to get UMD Sampler Disc Volume 1 ? probably i will look for a UMD movie with my region, i can look at which region at my psp box right, if i still recalll that. too bad i cant play any game now. so based on the setting i posted am i using a psp1.5?

Well I just tested the UMD Movie I have and It didnt work although it is the same region as my psp. It seems that the emulated firmware contains a region code also. I thought the mobo held the region code, so It looks like im wrong on that one. I would try to score a Used Game, the cheapest one you can find will work. And if you can find Volume 1 that will work also, used game retailers around here have them for like 2 dollars. I take it you bought the core pack?

@hexitnow thanks for that info, and one more thing, from the info i have post am i using psp 1.5 cos the seller told me is 1.5 but i view the device properties it shown 2.0 instead of 1.5 and devhook shown 1.500001
i bought a value pack with extra 2 gig

it had to of had a version changer taken to it then. if you can boot devhook its really a 1.5. 2.0 wont allow booting of homebrew. If you want to change it back to say 1.5 then u can use xflash for that. but i have my psp's version set to 13.37 so that i dont have to worry about my g/f or someone else updating it on accident.

i can bootup devhook 0.46 then my psp is 1.5, yea hoo . so what i need to get it a UMD ok, i wlll have to save my money start from today again . thanks.
i tot running homebrew doesnt mean the psp is 1.5 until you told me so.

Well other firmwares can load homebrew but its not as straight forward as 1.5. But by your description its easy to tell its really a 1.5.
