the bad
when too many apps are running the music skips
when put the ipod in while itunes is playing there becomes static
when playing quicktime file on the internet music fast forwards
when itunes is open and ipod is connected it freezes and starts again
there is no tv shows in library
the software v1.2 doesnt download propperly
when another program uses sound on the computer the sound cuts and skips

The good
nice layout
tidy
more sub headings in source
the new ipod device set out and easy tab options
new sound bars when you click on the little arrow in the window
3 different views for the list
browse down the bottom (tidy)
the program runs alot faster

Most of those problems you are experiencing arn't really a problem with iTunes but just lack of having enough RAM availible. Given iTunes now is more memory demanding.

i have 1 gig ram on my comp so i dont think ram is a problem.
