lg dvd rom/ lg cd rom & itunes??

Hi,
After recently installing itunes it appears that both lg cd-rw and lg- dvd rom (gdr8162b) wont function.
They both have an exclamation mark in device mgr.
I have tried uninstalling them , let windows re-detect them & attempt to install drivers but back with exclaaton marks.

tried uninstalling the secondary ide controller. again windows installed it, same problem.
Neither of the drives show under my computer.


there are two unsigned drivers that both drives are trying to use one of them i removed (gearaspiwdm or gearaspi) following a manual remove guide from gear software.
uninstalled itunes aswell.

only other suspicions are pxhelp20.sys : the other unsigned driver
or afs2k.sys, the only other driver not from microsoft but from oak tech?

any ideas
