I've been burning DVD+Rs for about 2 years now and have tried all sorts of major brands (Sony, Fuji, Verbatim, TDK, MAXELL, JVC) and also house brands (GQ, Dynex, Office Depot, Staples) and have been generally successful with them. So I decided to try this brand at Microcenter called WinData. Before I bought them I knew they may be trouble, especially when the label says Made In Hong Kong, but for $6.49 for a 25-pack I'll try it. The JVCs mentioned above were even Made in China and were fine. But when I inspected the writing surface of the WinData, there were little fine scratches on most of the disks. Also, I noticed that there were some dust particles clinging to the writing surfaces too. They went straight into the trash.
