Hello,

I use two parts of Nero - burner and vision. Although vision is pretty simple to use so far, it doesn't give me enough control over the background (e.g. if burning a tv show, I want the background to be just the tv show theme but there is more control of the video in the buttons than the background for some reason) and I can't figure out how to keep two or more audio tracks of the VOB files I import.

Any recommendations of something that does what Vision does but better for those two points? Or some tips for the newbie on how to use Nero Vision for those two things - other than those I like Nero Vision fine.

Thanks

When you say background, are you referring to music or video?

Nero Vision is limited in what it can do. It is good for the price, but doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. It won't import 2 audio tracks, but if there was a way to break them out, you could add them in the separate audio tracks.

Nero 7 v7.10.1.0
P4 2.4GHz 1 Gig RAM
NEC ND3550A DVD Burner

Adobe Premiere, the bomb in video authoring, but, very expensive.
You can download a 30 day tiral from Adobe though.

Saltgrass - video - thanks for the reply - I think that is a little much work for me but I appreciate you confirming my suspicions. Too bad - if it took care of those two things it would be great since it is so easy to use.

BlivetNC. Thanks. I've begun testing alternatives. I downloaded DVD-Lab Pro 2 - Far too complicated. I spent over an hour 1/2 testing and still couldn't burn a DVD.

I'm trying Ulead Studio now - I burned a DVD but it doesn't have both audio tracks, I'll try again in case I screwed up and then I'll try DVD workshop.

I will try adobe premiere but as you said it is expensive.

blivetNC,

I installed the trial version of Premiere and it didn't let me import the VOB file - is there something I'm doing wrong or does it not have that feature?
