well i got my psp couple of days ago....and so far everything on the net seems to be for 2.71 and under...
to my defence i go the psp with the v2.81 on it so the first question:
what do i do?....wait but for what and how long also where should i look and what m i looking for?
i must say i ve got a hard time getting the whole dwgrader, emu, devhook, home brew...etc. all new to me on a system that seems quite dif to infiltrate!?
option question?? can we browse the net, picture or else at the same time that we listen to music? i managed to get out of the music folder with music on by pressing select" but any other click will stop the music to let place to the other option?? is there any tech logic to that?
if there's a tread that explain that stuff as on over view of the basic concept of the machine could you tell me where? because so far i now all the terms but can't see or learn about as i can't try any with my bieatyfull v2.81!@!@#!@#$@$!@#$#@!#$@%#$%

well u r stuck and as long as i think u stuck for a looooooong time man hard luck for u with 2.81!!!we 2.80 user r waiting for a long time for a downgrader but still there is no hope except from those tiff games/an comin eloader!!!!well u cant even play the hombrews wat we can!!!let god help u!!!

i got it from a guy that never used it but had the great idea to update it for no reason!!!???!!!
isn't there a way to just copy the umd???
hey out of interest....
couldn't we just (i know it's a big job) create a different OS all together instead of working on every update one by one.
and would that be legal to use psp to run another OS??? i m sure our nice hacker would love to make there mark and create cool OS...?
what you guys think?

OHhHhhhh boy , I dont believe this. Your downgraders for 2.81 are gonna come out probably next year i think because we have been wating for months. Ive been waiting since august. And here i am still waiting now towards October then November. I feel sorry for you guys dearly. Ok Ok Ok Ok , go to a PSP spare part shop and um..... get ur motherboards changed to a 2.71 motherboard, then ull be fine. Otherwise, your PSP 2.81 is a brick ( nothing to do with it) . yeah man sorry to say this but your stuck you can try ebay or do what most do buy a new psp of some big store like bestbuy or something then switch serial numbers and come back saying you grandma got it for you but you already got one lol easy scam
oh oh yeah i dont aprove of it at all just an idea so dont no one be trying to ban me now

hey another question... now that i ve been put off the idea of waiting, i decided i'll go change the chip...to lower one...but i wanted to know if i have change for a V1.5 what option will i lose from the 2.81??? i think i read somewhere that i would lose the net browser and other option? what are they?

Well, I have a 2.81, and I kinda like it. But it's holding me back from the real gaming experience. I think sometime that they will eventually make a downgrader if we prey! >_<

naw men you can get devhook it emulates firmwires meaning you can go to 2.71 and back down and i hear the 2.81 version about to come out heres the link for devhook 46
