Is it possible to play playstation legal backups on a ps2?

I have a magic swap and can do this with my legally backed up games for ps2 - but I dont know how to get my regular old PS backups to work on a PS2.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Okay would that be like Breaker Pro? I saw that for only 20 dollars on a website, seems like a fair deal to me.

yea, buy it. i have breaker pro and as far as i know it is the only way to play psx backups on a ps2 without having a mod chip.

There is an exploit you can use to play your PS1/PSX backups on a V9 - V14 Slimline PS2... Without the need for Breaker Pro... But I'm not sure which version u have, so I dunno... I think it even works for the "Fatty PS2" if u have swap magic 3.3 and the slide tool thingy...
