I know how to burn a CD with the 2 second gap. I can burn a CD on ITunes and Nero without the 2 second gap. What I can't do is burn a CD where some tracks have the gap and some do not (think of Sgt. Pepper where the first two and the last two tracks meld without a gap). Can anybody help me?

Use a burning application where you can edit the gap between tracks.
GEAR Video 8 will allow you to set this to 0, on a track-by-track basis.
Alternatively, use WaveLab.
