Right I hav a 1gb ipod nano and i tried to put a theme on2 it, its totally messed up the pictures and everything! SO how can i restore it back to hw the official ipod theme ws

Alright, you used the wrong version of a theme, which is an annoyance, but easily fixed. Were you able to return your iPod to the factory state? Just download a new updater from Apple or if you like 1.0 better get it from here:

I don't know of any good theme conversion programs [different iPods that is] but I do know of this for converting between firmwares:

A few searches with google with the words theme converter and iPod Wizard in the search should give you some good choices.

i followed a tutorial Lethal B put out on how to add themes to the 5g IPoD, unfortunately, when i use the updater to add the theme, I get invalid ipod service version, what does this mean?

What does "invalid iPod Service version" mean? I can not download themes into my 60gb black ipod.
