Can't get backup of ps2 game to load

Hi , I need help.
I've been trying to get a backup of my lego Star Wars II to work but when I load it sounds like it's skipping and does not stop like the console can't read the disk. I've had a modchip installed about 6 months ago and it always worked with my other backup.

I've tried using Sony DVD-R and Memorex DVD-R burning at 4x with DVD Decrypter and other times with Alcohol 120% . Nothing seems to work.

I'm using a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110D wich usually works fine .

Any ideas anyone ??

son't use the memorex they're crap use the sony's are way better. also try using image burn and Nero, image burn should work fine plus its free.

DVD Decrypter and img burn are the same thing img burn can't read ISo's though. oh and i recommend using Verbatim with AZO cheap and work great!

you can you ritek g05 there cheaper and you hardly get a coaster but for the best use some tyg02 and you wont go wrong

Tried with Nero and also with Image burn but with the Sony dvd's.
Should I use DVD Decrypter to make the Iso image or just copy to copy with Nero ?
Also should DVD Decrypter be set to ignore ignore read errors ?
I'll go buy some better DVD's.

DVD Decrypter is sometimes a little funny with the buurning side of it . .i decrypt mine with DVD Decrypter then burn the image with img burn and always check the verify box .nero is not needed .one time there was a file i tried to burn with decrypter and wouldnt work wasted three sony dvds !!!!!! burned with image burn at 2x and worked fine. wierd @letiloup ? how old is you ps2 ? and do other games work on your ps2 with the same media? chances are u download a crap file from somewhere.......

The Playstation is about 2 years old ( not the slim one ).
I backed up other games with no problem. With Sony's and with Memorex...
Also this is not from a downloaded file but from the original dvd of the game.
I have now tried many different combinations of backing it up from decrypting with DVD Decrypter and burning with it or with Image burn to using Alcohol 120% and burning with Nero 7.

I always get the same click click click sound like the machine is trying to read the disk.

I was thinking that my console was going but my old backup copies of other games still work. Funny
