Hi all,
I have installed Evox onto my Asia model xbox using the tutorials and FlashFXP. The boot up from HDD was successful. Both C: and E: drives were also transfered to PC for backups. I then proceed to backup some games from the DVD drive. When I open D: I do not find any game data except some skin directory and other directories and xboxdash, xbe files similar to C: drive.
After replacing the DVD, D: still does not show the game but the previous mentioned directories. I foolishly thought that I may have accidentally transfered Evox files to D:, and proceeded to delete all files on D:. A warning message came up ("nested directories will also be deleted") and I proceed. Afterwhich, I can still find files and directories similar to C: left on D:. And again proceeded to delete them with the same nested dir warning meesage. This time, all files are gone. I checked C: and E: and find that the files and dirs are still there (C: has Audio, backup, fonts, xboxdashdata, xodash dirs and 4 files{msxboxdash, xbox.xtf, xbox book.xtf,xboxdash.xbe}, E: has only Cache, Tdata and Udata dirs).
I rebooted and this time there is no Evox dash. The Eject button flashes red and a warning screen showing error code #16 (missing dashboard files and etc). I tried inserting Evox install disk and original games but same problems. I tried FlashFXP but is unable to connect back to Xbox (cannot find IP anymore).
I suspect my Asia Xbox HDD directories are different from the other older models. But could someone advise me what I can do now? Thanks. Saw something about Slayer disk, will that help? Where can I get it? Thanks.
Other forums think it is due to my faulty FlashFXP that mistook C: for D: resulting in my problems (very likely).

Dank, where does one go about getting slayers 2.1? I've got 2.0 right now & it works fine, but would it be a worth while venture for me to get 2.1?

hey Dank, got any ideas where we might be able to set up an FTP dump with slayers2.1 on it? i see alot of people needing it and it would be nice if we had somewhere to send them. i suppose i could send it to them on IRC if they come in our channel. but a dump would be better.
