I want to upgrade to 2.71, but read some threads on here that it is not possible on a ta082 MB....some ppl say it does work.

Does it or doesn't it? I don't want to risk bricking my psp.

After I update what then? Do i run devhook?

TA-082 motherboards can run 2.71 they just cant be downgraded(from any firware)

If you dont have a TA-082 or do and are not planning on downgrading

Dl this and put it in PSP_GAME_UPDATE

yea with the new exploit that emualtes 1.5 when your on 2.71

make a new folder under psp/game and call it UPDATE. Make sure all the letters are capitals and put the eboot file in there.
