Hi guys,
Ok get back on to Discussion:
Anyway here is my plan to split these forums, you can't split too much or else it will thin out traffic and be usless, so here it goes now:
Xbox 360 - General Disscussion (For General stuff, like a main lobby)
Xbox 360 - Hacking Discussion (Probabaly be most popu;ar right now. Talk about FW/Hardware flashing...)
Xbox 360 - Game Discussion (Talk about any game in here, this is a combined forum to prevent traffic-thining)
Xbox 360 - Backup Discssion (Talk about backups...)
With each thread stickied a "warez n' Ban" warning.
That's that. Hope i will make a difference to make Afterdawn even better;)

Now i think the question on everybody's mind is,what do we now do,a majority of the members here seem to agree that the 360 forum needs to be split up,now if whoever makes things happen around here needs more proof,maybe we should get a poll up and running,or it could just get done,and the question is,are we going to get it our way,is it going to now get done???

Okay there was not forum topic for this but I needed to ask and if in wrong forum please point me into the right direction please, I heard that one can hook their xbxo 360 to their pc i have yet been able to do so network wise I am all wired not wireless since i am not in favor of wireless.
I was curious is there a way to tranfer saves from the 360 to the computer and if so how do I do so if someone can inform me of this please?

Ok neon,Your in the right place but the wrong thread.Just make a topic for that on this forum.You should see a button in the lobby for "start a new thread" it's to your right up at the top.

are you honestly just messaging me for that because I was told personally to start one since you guys could not answer my original question, and tycobb was the one who told me to start one, since you guys are arguing in here about starting a new forum.
all i know is i came here trying to get help for mine sicne afterdawn has people who know what they are talking about.

D'ya all know.. I think I have an idea as to why you are getting nowhere fast with the forum requests. It's just a little thing but look around AD and you might notice something.
While there are modchip forums and softmod forums and game backup forums..There are none discussing bios hacking or firmware hacking.
My point..basically these involve the illegal acquisition and reverse engineering of copyrighted software.
The only use of firmware hacking currently (and don't mis-quote me on this.. I had to look very deeply into this as part of my job elsewhere) is piracy..namely..downloading and using software you have no right to use. It adds no functionality to the device apart from allowing the circumvention of copy protection..That is specifically listed as not an exception in the reverse engineering exceptions of whatever law they like to use when taking hundreds of thousands of $$$ off pirates. (I do know what it's called..it's very late and I can't be bothered digging about for it)
There is some small argument as to having the right to backup software you have paid for. Granted..unfortunately the use of illegally obtained and modified software to achieve this voids that argument..
That is why I feel that the forums you so desperately seek are a long time coming. I have a feeling there are things behind the scenes of a legal nature that need serious consideration before they can go ahead. Wait and see..I don't think there will ever be a firmware hacking forum because it is a totally illegal subject..As for the backups..There may be some possibility of it when it does not involve the editing and messing with the security sector of the disk (illegal) And does not involve the use of illegal hacked firmware as well.
Bide your time guys..In the meantime there are sites based in parts of the world where it doesn't matter what you talk about who are quite prepared to have discussions about criminal activity..But I think you will all need a much more mature attitude if you want to take part in the discussions.
Personally I don't think there is any need for AD to get involved with this subject..Maybe a 360 games section, and possibly one about hardware modifications..larger hdd's and things..but there really isn't anything else to talk about yet..
This is a tech help forum..not a 1337 h4x0r's hideaway.. If you really want that stuff go and find it..Believe..it's out there..Skilled hackers and knowledgable people are always welcome in the hardcore hacking scene..just don't think many AD members are mature enough to last 5 minutes..
The development scene doesn't need ignorant know-alls spouting off..Seen how easily I destroy the gobby kids who say they are testing a chip right now? I'm in there thinking and working and deep down they know it by the way I talk about it. When the developers have something for you it will arrive quietly and pervasively..suddenly all the modchip selling sites will have them to sell one day..All at once, not just one place taking pre-orders months in advance..
