after i copied that file (rt2500usb.sys) to system32\drivers it says to click wireless settings. i tried that but it says "There is no Wireless LAN Card Installed, So the Utility will quit." What should i do now? and in the beginning of the guide u said "Inside the Drivers folder of the RAR file, you will find modified Buffalo drivers. Install these drivers for the USB Connector." What do u mean by "Install"? do u mean to copy them to "system32\drivers" ?
and after that u said "You will get a dialog asking if you want to use the Windows configuration utility or the ASUS one, select the option that uses ASUS one and disables the Windows one. Then there will be a wizard. Click Cancel to close the wizard." for me no Wizard popped up instead it said "There is no Wireless LAN Card Installed, so the utility will quit.". help me plz?

Hey guys !
Ok, I seem to have a problem. I installed the old (Original) Driver for the Wi-Fi USB Connector via CD from Nintendo and for some reason I can't uninstall those anymore. I went to Hardware and uninstalled the driver and the USB Connector but for some Reason he still Recognizes the USB Connector. So my Question is, how do I Completely Uninstall those Driver. Oh, and the Original Driver is called something with 2500 and the Hardware wizzard only looks for those, so I can't install the Updated driver from the Download.
Phew... that's a lot and I hope someone is able to help me.

well. to tell you the truth, i didnt see you do anyting wrong in the installation. except that you put your network authentication on shared and you changed your 54g Mode to 802.11b only. i could make a video if you wanted. but it will pretty much be the same as yours.

ok ill make a video.
but if you still get it to work and are willing to pay for $29.99. then you should get this.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833320107

its the same thing basically, but you dont have to hack any drivers or anything.
EDIT: For some reason my computer thinks that my Nintendo Wifi USB Connector is the connector itself and the buffalo adapter. But i will be making the video as if it is the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector.

Hmm, I seem to be having a similar problem with a few people here. The setup went smoothly, and all the software and drivers seem fully functional, however when I test my connection on my PSP, it fails the "Internet Connection" part. It is certainly connecting to the Wifi Connector, becuase if I set it to auto, it picks up an IP, and it reads the Connector's MAC. Also, if I watch the Connection Status in the ASUS WLAN Card window, I can see the PSP successfully send data, but it doesn't seem to receive any.
Any ideas from anyone?

I do use manual settings, I'm just saying that when I tried auto, it did successfully get an IP.

I've tried a few variations in the ASUS software. I've tried with and without encryption, and with and without access control. Is there any little things I could be missing that would cause only outgoing dataflow from the PSP?

Could it be a firewall or router issue? I don't see how it could be, but I thought it'd be worth asking.
