New iTunes - Really Annoying Problem

Well I updated my iTunes last week and every so often I have to reinstall it. When I try to open it the install box appears showing "Preparing to install....". It is so annoying having to keep doing this, any solutions???

completely uninstall it and then re-install it, after all that, never delete quicktime from your computer, if it keeps doing it after reinstalling it, download the quicktime installer by separate and install it, that should work.
