HELP, How come Swap magic doesnt Work With Component wires?

Ok can som1 explain why when i use scart lead swap magic works on my HDTV but when i use component wires the swap magic logo starts to load then goes black?

If i use a official game with no swap magic it loads/runs perfect.

Is swap magic not compatible with component wires?
im using swap magic PAL 3.6

i really want to use component wires as it gives me a better picture
Any ideas pls?
