well.... i been trying everything to copy ps2 games... used dvd decrpter thingy dun it all right.... tried Nero... and wen i insert the copyed game into my ps2... it ses reading disc and THEN !!!! ...........nothing as if theres no disc in there it doesnet even say ''please insert a ps2 format dvd,cd '' ... just doesent reconize it !

and ive seen all the professional help people hav been giving each other here... so ..... help me 2 PLEASE !

oh yh and my ps2 version thingy iz SCPH-50003

hav u got swap magic or a chip if not theres your problem.

If you want help, you may wish to refrain from using profanity and all caps.

Yes, you'll need to have a mod chip or swap magic to be able to boot a backed up disc.

yes yes ! ( srry bout the unapropiat language .. how eva u sepll dat ) i do hav a chip... wen i went to turkey on holiday i bought sum copyed games ( like £1 lol ! )... dun all profesionally like on the under side of the disc just where the hole is it says the name of the game... looks all sweet but you can tell its copyed ... .. so yh my ps2 is chipped

any ideas why i cant copy ? ?

sorry i dont quite understand what your saying, you said that you bought copyied games and your trying to boot them, could you explain what chip you have.

ok.... well basicly.....i dont no what chip i hav but i no its pretty new.. and what i ment was i bought sum copyed gamkes from Turkey wen i went there on holiday and they worked fine ( and yes they were copyed you can tell ) .. but wen i try to copy my own it doesnt work... my ps2, it just doesnt read the disc as if its not even in there , oh yh and the media im usin is DVD+RW 1-4x 4.7gb
is that the reason maybe ?

Yeah, DVD+/-RW won't work. Use DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs if your drive can booktype.

You mean Verbatim or Maxell? I'd pretty much agree with the Verbatim, but Maxell are pretty crap!
RITEK G05 all the way for me though. Cant go wrong. 2000 games burnt & not a single coaster!

thanx peeps it worked right now im using maxwell DVD+R and i hav sucessfully ''backed up'' urban chaos : riot response and also MGS : sons of liberty ... thanx agen people !

but its worked with sum games liek urban chaos..btu not with path of neo..is that why ? cause i used +R ?

It's almost certainly because you chose to use Maxell brand, despite recommendations NOT to as they're not the best of quality.
Plus, you probably never booktyped the +R discs to DVD-ROM before burning.

Read the best media sticky thread & get some good quality media (RITEK, Verbatim, Sony). And stick with DVD-R to be on the safe side.
