Another year, another NBA Live, another dirty disc error. Anyone got any luck with running this game off the HDD on a chipped Xbox?

I heard using nkpatcher and driveimageutils will work, but that's only for softmodded Xbox's.

Only works on harddrives with newer softmods eg: krazies ndure that can read iso's off the harddrive with the help of attach.xbe from driveimageutils(xbins)
Game should be in ISO format and in the same folder as the attach.xbe. Rename the Game title and rename attach.xbe to default.xbe. Then it will show up in the games menu.
****Remember This only works on newer softmods****

or use dvd2xbox 7.5 and copy in iso mode.
