Hi
I will eventually get the xbox 360 and the wii, but i would like to have yr opinion on wich one to buy first. I am on a dilema, cuz i love to play onlime but i am a HUGE metroid fan, also i am a huge halo fan but neither halo 3 or halo wars will bw realeased this year so....
i really don´t know wich one to buy first.

Well if you want gaming then the wii but if you want shitier games but better graphics then go for the 360
|

i agree that the wii will have better games but not as good graphics as the xbox 360 OR ps3. but only few games on xbox 360 are good enough to play online ie. G.R.A.W, Halo. i think G.R.A.W is playable online.

if how the 360 has been so far is any indication, then its simply put, mediocre. Id go with Wii. BTW, is Halo Wars going to be coming out for PC?

Halo (the series) and halo wars since it is made by microsoft it is most likely going to be for the PC as well.

well yeah, halo 3 will probably be ported to PC a while after release, but as Halo Wars is a strategy game Im wondering if it will be released as a PC title

You posted this in a Wii forum, you have to expect it to be biased replies ¬_¬
I also say go for the Wii, i recently pre-ordered mine.
I'm going to be getting the Wii on release (8th December for me)
Gonna then get the PS3 on release (March sometime, bloody sony ¬_¬ making Europe wait)
And will get the Xbox 360 either when its under £150 or it is as moddable as the current xbox (which was the main reason for my purchasing of the old xbox) so basically a long way away :P

halo wars is exclusively for 360, but i think it will eventually get to the pc.

well its true the wii will have better games but the 360 will have the power but game conolses never intended to be for graphics but for games

What this thread is still going on? I thought it would have been closed by now ><. Anyways you ask this in a wii thread so what do you think people are going to say? Ask this in the xbox thread then you will get diferent opinion's mainly people saying xbox 360 is better.

Halo 2 is coming to Windows Vista and i'm sure Halo 3 will do the same. I am a huge XBOX fan but have nothing against the Wii, I allready have a 360 and its great but I'm sure the Wii will be just as good in it's own way.
It depends what you want from the console. The Wii will be more fun to play but the 360 has better graphics and the release of Halo 3 to back it up.
Because I think most games for the 360 have been quite mediocre so far, I would go and buy the Wii first then try to buy the 360 later just prior to the release of Halo 3.

GEARS OF WAR!!!!!!!
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

lol; it's like comparing cake and ice cream. They're both delicious, but they're completely different. The trick isn't to decide which one is better, but how you'll go about getting your cake AND your ice cream, so you can enjoy both experiences since they are completely different.
I hope the fanboyism stays at a low here, it can get ugly.
As for the 360's showing being mediocre, that depends on who you ask; the system has had some great titles, and like every other system some genuinely bad ones. I personally really enjoyed Dead Rising, Gears of War, Doa4(Haven't tried Doax2, but I will), Ridge Racer 6, and even Perfect Dark 0(Despite people's inevitable complaints because, let's face it, everyone expected halo out of their own stupidity).
I'm expecting some GREAT titles from the Wii as well, which is why I'm purchasing it.
But can we please keep the whole "Who's the best!?!" to a minimum; it is, always has been, and probably always will be a matter of preference, there's nothing wrong with stating your system of choice, but let's keep the console dumping down.
PS3 is teh stupid suck.(I'm sorry, it genuinely was a joke, I just couldn't help myself after giving that long rant.)

you guys are crazy, who says 360 has edited by ddp games? i have a 360 and personally, so far i havent been enjoying it to the max...im buying a Wii this sunday and im planning to have fun...but the Wii is gonna be obselete to me during fall 2007...too many great games are coming out on 360...its unbelievable...and uhh yeah...edited by ddp sony
