Burned a good 20-odd backup's since getting my PS2 modded and whilst most seem to come out fine, some will be a bit jerky (not uplayable but still noticeable). The DVD's i'm using are made by TDK. I usually burn the ISO's through Alcohol and the lowest speed it lets me choose is 6% although when I begin burning the log does tell me that this is an 'illegal speed' and that it will burn the discs at 3.2%. Weird I know and i'm not sure if this is why i'm getting problems with a few games. In any case, i'm not out of DVD's and need some more, could anyone recommend some good one's that'll hopefully allow me to burn at low speeds.

Thanks for any help

i would suggest sony DVD-R with accucore ive burned quite a few backups and have had 100% success with them...allbeit the ps2 is abit noisy when running them they dont stutter or skip...fmv's are fluid and smooth...so i'd definantly suggest this media.

Reading the sticky topic about 'Best Media' would of helped you, but I recommend RITEK G05 8x DVD-R. 2000 games burnt. 100% success rate, with no PS2 noise or skipping etc..

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!
