I've encoded Star Wars IV three different times using AnyDVD and Nero Recode. Both are the latest versions. Anyway, after encoding and burning, I see a white camera icon appear followed by the fraction
1/3 during the beginning of the movie. It stays on for roughly thirty seconds and then disappears. I've wasted three 8X DVD-R Verbatim discs and it's really bugging me.

I've already unchecked "PUO" in AnyDVD but that did not help. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Here's one method you can try.
Re-rip with DVD Decrypter in file mode, all file. Make sure the settings show that VOB PUOs are NOT removed.

Turns out that Decrypter didn't make a difference. It wasn't until I went into the Recode settings that I discovered a check box to remove PUO's! This was cancelling out AnyDVD and Decrypter's option to remove or keep PUO's. Unchecking this in Nero Recode finally did the trick. This took four tries and three wasted discs to get it right. Oh well. You learn something new everyday.

Thanks for your help.

Next time, you can use your tools to create ISO files instead of burning it directly. Then use VLC to preview your work before you burn it to disc.
