I burn dvds (home movies) all the time. Now I need to make another copy for myself but cannot seem to copy it with Nero. It says: Nero Recode encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read from the file VTS_03_0.IFO. The semaphore timeout period has expired. Please help me, I need to save my children's memories. Thank you in advance.

try reauthoring it with shrink and if that fails you may need to reconvert it again.

See if the program below will allow you to

Once converted you will be an an mpeg2 format which Nero will reconize as the dvd burning format

i am wondering if the file below is corrupt:
