Every time I start games, it crashes with blue screen of death - BAD_POOL_HEADER error.

I've got Windows XP, 512mb RAM, on SP2.

Driver - NVidia GeForce FX 5600. I've updated the drivers. No luck.

I think the problems started last week or two when I tried to play a cracked game. Virus?

I've scanned with Norton for any viruses - nope found. I even scanned with Spybot and Ad-Adware, again nope found, just cookies.

Finally, my computer seem to be really slow, I've checked for any strange processes via CTRL+ALT+DEL, nope strange.

I've done a HijackThis log:-

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

It crashes when I start playing. It loads fine without problems. When I get to the menu, it runs fine. When gameplay started, it crashed every time.

It varies with games, it includes high CPU useage like The Sims 2 or low CPU useage such as Monopoly.

Thank you for your fast reply. :)

OK, tested it.

No luck.

I left it to do memory dump or something like that.

Then it asked me if I want to sent an error report to Microsoft, I click OK. It says the error were down to C-Media Audio Driver (cmaudio.sys.

Even though I doubt that. I read somewhere that conflict in drivers can affect mouse funcation, I'm having problems with mouse too. It keep jumping and websites keep jumping to the bottom.

What do you suggest that I do next? Try to reinstall C-Media Audio Driver and see what happens?

Thank you so much for helping.
