Hey guys,

I really do apologise if this has already been posted about but I did a search and couldn't find anything..

I'm trying to convert my whole dvd collection to DivX as I have media centre. I have no problem playing already encoded DivX or XviD files, but when I try and convert a ripped dvd to a DivX, after selecitng the stream\ifo that has the main movie in it, I 95% of the time get an error.. the one with the option to send error report.. it's not always straight away sometimes it's 50% of the way through.

I've tried several programs and they always come up with the error. I reinstalled latest DivX and even tried its own convertor but I still get this error.

Any ideas what I should do?

Have you tried "Dr. Divx"? Get the program, and read a tutorial. One of the best ways of transfering DVD to DivX.
