I have heard its possible to play sega genesis roms on ps2, after researching a bit i found out i needed something called pgen to boot the roms, i have downloaded pgen and i am completlely stuck as to what to do with it,

i have extracted the files and i get:

PGEN txt document (which explains nothing.)
PGEN_12.ELF
SYSTEM.CNF

i have no idea what to do,


i have swap magic 3.3 dvd version , i really need help.

you need some roms,which are illegal,so i cant give any links.

if and when you get some,place them in a new folder,(call the folder ROMS)
drop the elf/cnf files into Nero burning rom (udf/iso option) along with the folder of roms

thne burn it to disk

Thanks for Trying to help me but I followed your instructions and burned the disk and when i went to boot with swap magic dvd version 3, all i get is Not A Valid PS2 Disc,

Any Help.

All other backups i have (of games etc..) work fine with SM3, But for some reason i cant get PGen to work.

I followed the exact steps posted above and still it does not work?

sega roms are not illegal if you own the original...
