sunstech cd player .. i need help!!

yesterday i bought a sunstech CD player. but the problem is, i dunno how to work it out. i read the manual so many times, but the prob is that i can't charge it .. and the batteries are not helping it open. i tried to "turn it on" but there's no botton for that. ther's only the play botton and the stop and the rest "prog, mode etc"

so can anyone help me if they had the same problem .. quick!! cuz i really want to use it, but i can't! plz!
