Hi, I have done alot of researching lately and it?s driving me mad, seriously. I?ve read a lot of stuff here and it didn?t seem to help.
I?ve just made a backup of Hitman Blood Money for the ps2, and im having alot of troubles trying to get it to work on my modded ps2. My ps2 is a bulky one and has the chip neo 2.2 and I use DVD region x to boot up back-ups. I have used back-ups before on my ps2 which my old friend did for me and they worked great but now i am not in contact with him. Anyway I thought it would be great to do it myself. My DVD burner is LITEON SHM-165P6S.

I made my game into an .iso using DVD Decrypter and tried burning the .iso with Nero, DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120% and had no joy with none of them, the disks burnt alright but just don?t work in the ps2.
I have also tried using different brands of media, Vertibim, Imation and Ritek and also tried burning them at different speeds from x1 to x4. Also I know there is nothing wrong with the ps2 because I have tested an old back-up I had and it worked fine.

Please guys, all you ps2 lovers, like me, HELP ME.
Any ideas or what I need to do would be appreciated lots, thanks in advance for any info.

Try reading the forum rules. Double-posting/bumping is not permitted, and wait a bit longer than 2 & a half hours for someone to reply. People don't sit on here wating for you to post you know!

If you're that desperate for help, then a good place to start would be the sticky topics, or forum search.

I'm thinking it might be a TOC issue but, I don't know if booting up backups with dvd region X has the same procedures as the GS2 with neo2.2 (double swap for DVDR games)

NTSC DNAS threads.

The media brand you are using.. get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R.
