EAC - Audio Not Converting to Mp3???

I am trying to convert my audio CD's to Mp3. When using EAC and clicking on the Mp3 pic, the files are extracted as WAV files.
Is there a setting that I need to change - or what up?

EAC does not have a built in encoder for mp3. You need to download and install one. This should help...
