Disk Problem on Limewire

I have downloaded Limewire but when i download it it keeps saying "disk problem".

This really annoys me as I have waited ages to download something then it doesn't let me play it, even though I have plenty of room on my hard drive (I checked)

Is there any way I can stop this happening and also if there is any way to use the incomplete downloads rather than having to start the download from scratch again?
