OK, so i have the movie DayWatch filemane Dnevnoy Dazor-DayWatch.(2006.Rus).-By-Gildon.avi

I also have the english subtitles in notepad form, filename dnevnoi.dozor.2006.rus.dvdrip.xvid-kinofack

i was wondering how to go about getting the subtitles encoded into the movie because the current subtitles are in a different language

also the movie is in russian

Ah, the subtitle is in Notepad form (that is: ASCII), but maybe it is named dnevnoi.dozor.2006.rus.dvdrip.xvid-kinofack.SRT or dnevnoi.dozor.2006.rus.dvdrip.xvid-kinofack.SUB.
