no you wont brick ur psp. it doesnt mess with the flash. if something doesnt touch ur flash then theres no chance of bricking ur psp.

but actually it does touch flash0 it says it creates a new flash0 or lets your creat a flash0 folder

no it does not touch flash0 or 1 for that matter in anyway. It however creates flash0 and flash1 folders, like u seen, thats what gets extracted out of the data.psar file. And just because dark alex made it, it doesnt mean it cant brick ur psp. There is some things that can for instance, the downgrader he made. That messes with flash, and in few cases could result in a birck. However the psardumper does not mess with onboard flash on the psp in any way so u can not get a brick from that.

ok ty for helping me, but i need help on how to use it i already extracted the rar file so now i put the folder into the games but then it says corrupted data

wait i dont get it so if i already have fw 2.80 i can still use it? is this supposed to be for example you have 1.50 fw you use it and you get the features of 2.80 like video folder and demos? or is this for 2.80 and 2.81 only so we can use devhook on the next update?
