That's cos there's no such thing as a Universal ID. lol. If only it were that simple!

If you want a proper working ID, then you'll need to provide the full SLES file number (SLES_xxx.xx)

you not quite right.
there is a PAL universal DNAS which works for MOST of the PAL games
(tried it with smdvr06,pes5,burnout4). But for mgs3:persistence it won't... anyone got a working one?

Cant give you an ID without that info.

And I am right. If it were universal, then it'd work on ALL games wouldn't it? As is the definition of the word 'universal'.
I could probably give you umpteen different IDs that work on more than one game, but they're not universal because they don't work on every game.
Trust me. I'm a bit of an expert on DNA$ bypassing.

820? Are you sure? The last PAL game release was 542. That's miles away! Is that from Disc 2 - the online disc?
And what's the SLES from Disc 1?

Hmm, manual generation of a disc ID is going to prove difficult then. Leave it with me, but don't expect anything too soon til I work it out. Every other game starts with a '5', and it normally only takes 10 seconds to make a working ID, but this will most likely take a bit longer!
Damn, I wish my local Blockbuster was still open. Could've rented it & got the ID from the original.
