I am looking for dvd copying software that will run on my portable USB hard drive. I am wanting to use the dvd burner at work, but I don't have the admin privilage to install the dvd burning/copying program on the hard drive. We were sent a computer with a DVD burner, but no software to run it. I requested the software with legitimate reason, but the request was pretty much ignored. I need something that does not require installation into the Windows XP registry to run. I hope somebody out there knows a program that can do this. I sure can't find it.....

if the system at work don't have a burning program it is probley for a reason, so if you don't want to get fired from your job i would not even try doing this, and i see that they don't want burning software put on the system, how long have you had your job there? and if it has a good wage and good benifets i would not even try to do what you are wanting to do, burners are dirt cheep so just buy one for your own system so you don't have to worry about geting fired over it, hope that helps have a nice day
