most (not all) Sli Compatible Motherboards only support Nvidia's Sli Graphics card...

Acutally, it should work with one ATI card, with no problem. But, if you want to use the SLI function in the future, by adding another video card, then NVidia is the only way it will work.

Yeah hes right. You can use an nVIDIA mobo with ONE ATI graphics card. No problemo. But you CANNOT use 2 ATI's in a 'crossfire' setup.

Commercial Quarelling. Pfft. And IMO, Dual Graphic cards are totally useless. 200% of the price, about 120% of the performance.

ya Dual graphics card sucks...like 7950Gt...wen it first came out everone is like "wow it a dual graphics card with 1Gb of memory"...ectually its worst than 7900GTX 512...cause it over heats and the performance also sucks

ok.i got it already.actually, im using ASUS P5ND2-SLI.not the deluxe one.i browsed ASUS support website and it says that the motherboard did not support 65nm technology due to chipset limitation.and im using Pentium D 945 3.4GHz which is 65nm technology according to Intel website.i think it is not compatible so i guess i have to buy a new motherboard to replace the ASUS motherboard.anyway, thanks for the help everyone.
