hello everyone my when i try o open sony media manager i get the error message the applicaion failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). click on ok to terminate the application what they heck is going on here ive uninstalled and reinstalled and tried to repair its just not working

Here ya go

The error 0xC0000005 is generated by an illegal "memory access violation". This can be caused by anything from faulty RAM, an incorrect/corrupt device driver, poorly written/updated software and more commonly under Windows XP Service pack 2, malware/adware installations.

Usually you get this error message when performing a specific task, and if that happens you need to check the corresponding 3rd party's website/support department to see if they are aware of the problem

..a while back Symantec Antivirus caused the 0xC0000005 error with an additional message about a file called SAVRT.SYS . A simple software update to the Symantec Antivirus cured the problem.

darn it to hell!!!!!! what can i do o fix this i want to add some movies to my psp and i the only way i know how is through this retarded program. thanks so much for your help

Try what it says, update device drivers, probably your sound card and video card, if you have two sticks of ram take one out / swap to see if one of them is causing errors. Im pretty sure theres more than just one program to do the task you want though, although ive never tried to do what your doing, and never will, I watch films on an archos av, piece of piss transfer of AVI files, as compared to psp films which imo are a pain in the ass.
