Are these 2 consoles going to be capable of working together like putting games on the DS maybe? or anything liek that?

yes
it is said that for some games the DS can be a controller for the game. Also you can DL demo games for the DS through the Wii.

they micro is suppose to be compatible to like with the next crystal chronicles for final fantasy or zelda using tingle turner
