Cant control roms in SNES STATION

I load up SNES STATION using AR MAX but when I load a rom, I cant move. Its as if the controller stops being recognized or something.

I burn the roms and emulator using Max Media creator if that matters. Please help me.

I've seen other topics about this same subject but it seems when somebody posts about it, it just gets ignored and I never found the answer.

do you have the ar max memory card in the second slot if so remove and try it if that help

I dont have my PS2 with me right now but I have 2 memory cards in both slots and the AR Max pen drive in one of the USB slots Im not sure which one. I will try removing both when I get it back tonight.

Im new to this, Are you familiar with my method of burning?(below)
I have have no mod chip
AR MAX EVO

In the Max Media Creator folder I replace "autoexec.elf"(PGEN) with SNES_EMU.ELF and rename it "autoexec.elf"

I add roms to the disk or Pen Drive.

Burn, Load AR MAX, SNES STATION LOADS, allows me to choose roms. Then the controller problem happens. Is there another way I can make this work without a mod chip. AR MAX can read the elf files so there must be another way

it may be the memory card that you have on slot 2 so once you get your ps2 back remove it and try it
