Just seems pretty useless for listening to songs. I mean maybe if I was going for a jog, but who the hell would bring there psp jogging. That was just an example of the uselessness of the device.

Anyone know about anything else it can do?

It is used to speak online via the mic online in certain games such as SOCOM:FTB

wow I see, I did not know that. Im sure it can be used for something a little more .... lets say sinister.

I have like 3 of them maybe il try splicing it with an old ps2 controller. Does anyone know what wires it has going through it. It looks alot smaller than a usb cable hmmm. I might be able to use some parts off my xbox controllers. No im not just gonna waist a controller, I have 2 that are already spliced with usb cables from modding xbox's. The headphone jack thing is right by the dpad so i It might be easier to tie into that. since the cable is so skiny im thinking i might need to add a power and a ground wire to power the ps2 controller.

Well luckily I also have a PSP with a broken lcd screen so I dont mind taking it apart. I would not try this on my fully functional
psp.

i dont get it what headphone remote are ya'll talking about? the white remot that come's with the psp? cause i use that all day makes my psp worth having i cant imagine takeing my psp out my pocket every time i need 2 chang an old boreing song
