ritek g05 are awesome if they're 8x.so no doubt that they will work if you correctly burn them.

Seriously I would delete the bump or oyu might get your self in trouble not of me but of someoen elese

Just do it iam serious just helping you.

Also If you dont find Ridata Discs and find Ritek ones just buy it Ridata and ritek are the same thing they both use the G05 dye which is really good and DO NOT buy alot of cheap media or you will be asking how replace your laser soon,LOL

Do it this way

Get dvd decryptor

1: ISO>MODE>READ if you do not have the iso
then ISO>MODE>WRITE select the iso burn it at 4x to a DVD-R disc

An 8x disc should really be burnt at 4x anyway to be honest.
And to play DVD movies in it, you need to disable your chip 1st.

so then what am i doing wrong? i know my laser is fine since the burned games i buy work. and the ridata disks should be fine because the burned games i buy are on them and im burning them correctly.

edit: there's a huge problem i found. when i put a few of the burned games i bought (suikoden, madden, MC:3) in my pc, i see all the files organized into folders and all the files would equal up to over 4 gb or whatever they should be. but when i put in my burned kingdom hearts 2, i see 14 files that wouldnt even add up to 10mb. i got an error saying "Sonic DLA DRIVE (E): Invalid directory entry has been encountered. Some content may be lost or inaccessible"

what the hell is going on?

PS - my iso was ripped from the game but it was a rental, does that matter?

You probably didn't rip it correctly. Use DVDecrypter. Mode > ISO > Read to make the iso.

I use cheap DVD+R's from Tesco, pack of 4 for £1 and it's buy one get one free, they work great and I use Datawrite DVD-R's, they are great too. I have used DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120% and Clone DVD, I recommend any of them.
