the face is always yellow and never turns green. before i fixed the ports it said i had a nat problem and then i fixed it then everything was fine. then later on it just kept saying i had a firewall which i don't. how do i fix that?

Sometimes the smiley face is not always correct, and sometimes I found that if the torrent is not seeded properly or is not healthy enough, Azereus will display a yellow face.

Try using a well seeded torrent, give it upto 40 minutes to speed up and then check the yellow face.

Have you portforwaded the right port, is it above 55000?
Make sure the port has not been blocked by your ISP, by testing it online, if you use UTorrent it has its own port testing.

thanks for answering. yes all my ports are correct and i am using Azureus. it didnt work... :(

whistler6 stop with the "anyone?" thing, you want someone to help you be patient, those kind of things put people off from answering you, even if they know the solution to your problem, I am not saying everyone gets annoyed, just a select few, including me, its like that thing people do with that "bump" thing, so that their thread goes more or less to the start of the forum.

Hi whistler6,

You have somesort of firewall there, that isn't allowing proper connection to the tracker.

Could be hardware or software.

i dont have a firewall. it use to work but now it all of a sudden said firewalled
