Hey every one, just wondering how much everyone plans to spend on wii, and what games and accesories your buying at launch ??
im going for : Wii (of course)
extra controller (w/nunchuck)
call of duty 3
Mario galaxy
and super monkey ball banana blitz!!

This is what im gonna get:
1x Wii console deck
1xExtra Wii-mote
1xNunchuck (extra)
1xClassic controler
Zelda twilight princess
30au on Wii points
Red steel
Need for speed carbon
And last I might just get a 120gb usb hardrive for the classic games and etc.

Ok, forgive me for not knowing if this was already asked, but can you use an external Hard drive for SURE for the Wii for storage of the classic games? Basically, has this been 100% confirmed from Nintendo themselves?
I cover my bases...
1)Xbox w/xecuter 2.6 solderless

pressed: USB Mass Storage has been officialy confirmed for the Wii, unfortunately they did not specifically state if external magnetic hard drives will be supported. Even if it doesn't, when you buy a VC title, it's flagged on the server, so if you delete it you can download it again for free.
big_wees: Sorry to dissapoint you, but Super Mario Galaxy isn't a launch title :\
I'm thinking I'll only be getting the console with an extra wiimote, and maybe some VC credits.. I'm a little broke. Besides, Wii Sports looks like a lot of fun :)

The straw that broke the camel's back (in this case in a good way) was Dragon Quest Swords. When I saw that this game was coming to the Wii, it sealed the deal for me. I am getting the system for that game only. Well, I am sure I will play a lot more games, but even if Dragon Quest were the only killer app (in my eyes) to be released for the Wii, I would still get it.

if you mean rainbow six vegas, then no its not on the wii and is on PS3 and 360, but double agent is going to be a launch title so we can expect some more tom clancy games.
Ill be getting a Wii, zelda, excite truck, call of duty 3 if its on par with the PC games rather than the mediocre console games and has something to offer aside from the campain (such as local multiplayer), and trauma centre if it has alot more content than the DS version (as its a remake of the DS version with diffrent control and an extra chapter). Ill probably wait until brawl comes out before getting a second controler, and I already have a 200gb external and an 80gb external hard drive as well as a bunch of SD cards

kinda shakey and tiring looking to me, i dont know how i'd take to playing more than a level. but atleast its a new way to play i guess. also a shame cod3 for wii has no online support.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

seems like am the only one who's really broke :$
Am going to get the console and the game red steal
now am not a fan of the first person shooting game but when i saw this game damn i wanted it so bad
i saw budokai tenkaichi 2 and damn if this is at launch date am going to get it for sho
