actually your palm can support almost any kind of video (think about the space), you just need the right player and codecs, check the web for a program called the core. or tmpge player...
it have versions for palm and pc... also you may try to use a program to convert the videos to the right specs from your palm, like screen size, and file sice... you may also need a really big sd card, 1gb minimun is a must
If your plam only can support .wmv,you may need to convert mov,rm to wmv,so you need a video converter.You can try winavi.It can help you i think.But it's not free,only a trial version with a water mark.

don't waste your time with other programs. Use this i use this program along w/dvd d*crypter & some other tools to convert my movies to palm format. On a 320x320 device like Zire72 they look really nice. On a TX they look incredible. Pocket LOTR:ROTK FTW!!
