Hey,
My friend just downgraded his PSP from 2.5 to 1.5 with my help. Now whenever he emulates 2.71 on 222/111 whenever he scans or does anything infrastructre/ad-hoc related he gets and internal error, his switch is on and WiFi power save is off.

The problem doesnt end there, its the same for his 1.5 XMB also. It worked perfectly before the downgrade...any ideas?

could try upgrade to 2.0 or sumit then downgrade again it mite solve the problem??

the downgrade could of screw up the internal wifi so update to 2.0 then use the easy downgrader here http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/776

it that doesnt work he may have to open it and replace the wireless antenna because chances are when he downgraded it was near bricking but missed off by chance but damaged another part in the process so pretty much partially bricking the psp or broke the wlan antenna

Software doesn't equal Hardware. If the software(firmware in this case) failed in one area then the software is messed up, not the actual physical hardware. An update to 2.0 and downgrade should fix the problem.
