Port Fowarding on an NTT SVIII ADSL Modem

I'm using Azureus and I have the dreaded 'DHT Firewalled' error message.

My setup was as follows: Buffalo Wireless Router connected to NTT SVIII ADSL Modem.

I tried port forwarding on both but nothing helped.

I took my notebook to the inlaw's place and connected to their router and boom, green lights, fast speeds, perfect.

So I've come home and first thing I've done is connect directly to the NTT SVIII Modem and gotten rid of the wireless router.

Funny thing is, the DHT part went green for a while, and there were lots of users and the speed was good.

Then it just went back to yellow and the NAT light is white, not green or yellow or even red.

My download speed fluctuates between 0 kb/s and around 30 kb/s.

Does anyone know what I need to do on this modem of mine to get it all working?

It's all in Japanese and I can read it but, what I have tried, has not worked for me so maybe I'm putting in the details in the wrong place...

Appreciate any help anyone can give.
