Hey, I been backing up dvds for a long time now and for the most part they always worked flawlessly. But now nothing will copy properly, everything i try just never works, well it does work. My dvd player recognizes them as dvd and starts to play them but it always skips or freezes all the time making them unwatchable. I have DVD Shrink 3.2, clone dvd2, any dvd,DVD Decrypter,Nero and DivX to dvd all on my computer. I normally use DVD Shrink or clone dvd2 but they both ain't working anymore for some bizarre reason. Also tryed decrypting the dvd first and burning it with Nero and clonedvd2 but to no alas. Can anyone help please? It's getting on my wits end!! Thanks any help would be appreciated.

this is a media problem. Skippping, freezing, and/or pixelations are due to crappy medial. Most of the time this can be solved by quality media being used. Just follow the made in Japan rule. Look for MIJ on the lable of the box or spindle.... this way you can be assured of quality media. Verbatim is the only exception to this rule as it's top notch media and made in Taiwan/Singapore, and the only Taiwan disks I'll use. Other MIJ media is Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Maxell, Fuji and some other brands, just make sure lable says MIJ!
