ive got an iso of a game that is far too large, sadly i didnt make the iso so i cant edit the files. is there a way to 'unzip the iso to edit them? or am i pretty much stuck with an iso too big for dvd disc that i cant modify, i searched a bit but believe you have to use qwix or possibly remove some files before making the iso correct?

Use ISOBuster to "unzip your iso" and then there are files that you can delete to make it smaller but I don't know what...wait for someone to confirm which ones unless you know what you're doing.

yeah it works that way, any idea why it wont work from the disc? i found what files to move. sorry for the double post i tried to search a bit here and online, thanks for the new search link.
i can fit it on the disc but it doesnt load in the xbox. some work some dont. i can go to file explorer and view the drive then FTP from the CD to the xbox HDD. id like to get a copy that plays on disc. neither my xbox or PC have a very big HD. so storage space is limited. why do you think some will show as data available on the disc but either freeze or give me dirty or damaged disc error but play fine if i just put it on the HDD? odd.

Wut you should do is download the clonexb beta and then put in all your FTP info and check keep temp files. Then once it is done ripping the disc you can delete anything u dont need to make the game fit on the disc. I find this very helpful when the disc u have has alot of demos or other junk like a foriegn language version. I have found clonexb is the simplest one to use but u need to down load ppf o matic sppf and serenity seperatley.
Halo 2 is gay so just give it up the only real game is Counter-Strike

buy some of that DVD-9 and try DVD Shrink to compress it. use DVD-9 to transfer large ISO files, I think it has a sized of 7.95 Gb, Large enough to squizze the file, Hope it will Work.

Yes DVD-9 is the name for Dual Layer disks. Dual Layer, Double Layer, DVD - 9. All the same. Means they have a large capacity; 7.85gb or sumin...can't think off the top of my head at the moment.

Well let me correct myself slightly;
Dvd-9 is the name given to DVD's that have a big capacity ie 7.85gb or whatever...
Dual layer is what you burn a DVD-9 movie onto.
So to sum up, DVD-9 is more refferring to the movie, whereas dual Layer is the media that you burn to.
