I'm still having difficulty loading quite a few games...I know everything else is ok but I think I have narrowed it down to a dodgy firmware downgrader...

Which 2.71 to 1.5 downgrader have you used sucesffully?? and then running devhook0.46

if i remember correctly, the authors of the 2.5/2.6 and 2.71 firmware downgraders recommend that you upgrade to 2.0 then down to 1.5 using MPHdowngrader (found at psp-hacks.com)

otherwise maybe u got some bad iso's.

hmm thats the same downgrader i used...

so how do i upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade to 1.5?? any recommendations?

im so upset wiv this psp...i now have around 30gig of games and only 5 gig of them work! =/

i swear i'm doin everything right!

is 1.5--->2.0---1.5 really gunna help? there's lots of people here with 2.71--->1.5 running fine

(and no it ain't bad rips...my mates have had a few of these exact ISO/CSOs working with the same loader etc)
