Hey, I've just upgraded to 2.71 SE and didn't like it as much as my 1.50 custom firmware devhook, I then went to downgrade using the xtrusion easy 2.71 to 1.5 downgrader, I've tried many times but it never works, somtimes it displays the red screen but no memory stick LED flashing, Other times it flashes the LED but the red screen doesn't appear, Could someone please help

When I downgraded, I just had to keep trying, and after like 20 tries it worked.

Yes but did you have SE-A when you downgraded or just your average 2.71
|

yeah for custom firmware you have to use a certain type of downgrader i think the one steven is talking about is the right one

i will give it a go if they fix the bugs :) coz i dont fancy going through the whole 2.71 downgrader if i dont like it or it doesnt work 100%

I,ve had no problems at all with 2.71 SE-A everything has worked that i have put on it, certainly not downgrading to 1.50 again.

Much easier to organise homebrew in 1.5 and you can use xflash etc to edit it can someone please tell me how to do this downgrade from 2.71 SA to 1.50

Hey dude just place the 1.50 update in Recovey folder and place the recovery folder in game folder while booting to Se-A just press R and then click on run file from Mso/PSP/game/recovery/update.pbp voila the next thing u see will be that u r on 1.50

Listen lads an lasses, once you have upgraded to 2.71 SE-A you have no need to do anything, only rename the folder with your homebrew to GAME150 then create another folder beside it called GAME, you must create said folder otherwise nothing will work, because that directory is needed. Its as straight forward as that, granted some apps wont work like X-Flash, (PSPset works) everyones to their own opinion but the fact of not having to emulate firmware to go on the net, having homebrew made for 2.71 thats not available on 1.50...for what i was doing on my old 1.50 i can still do it on 2.71SE-A.

I tried that recovery thing but it doesn't work it flashes the memory stick light for a few seconds then goes. and the psp crashes
