i live in nyc, there is the digital life expo. lots of gaming stuff, they had a few PS3s, only 1 guy was playing tho, the others were just for show. looks amazing up close. Anyhoo, nintendo didnt have a booth and EA did n they had likfe 4 Wiis playing Madden, so i got my hands on it and it was awesome. Now i dont play football games so i sucked but i just wanted to hold the wii-mote and chucker. they are very light in weight n pretty small. a lot of fun. They also had Elebits but only 1 and the line was pretty long, but the game looked really cool. so i played the Wii today!!

lucky. but we are really close till it comes out. by no time eveyone(atleast,on this fourm) is gona be playing one.

I am really looking forward to playing madden on the Wii. I've seen a lot of direct feed videos, and I like what EA did with it. That part about putting up both hands to catch the ball really sparked my interest.

I think it's gonna be the most innovative version of Madden this year.
I'm more of a soccer fan though so I wanna see what's going on with FIFA ;)

i got to play one my friend is part of a beta test group and he invited me to come see and play the ps3 and the wii and the ps3 has good grphics only if you have a hdmi tv where the wii has awesome hd graphics but with one catch you need to purchase the classic wii controller in order to play snes nes n64 titles sega titles and turbografx 16 titles will run on the wii remote yes bonks adventure here i come

Alright back to you what the hell are you talking about it does have high deffenition and progessive scan dont try to make it sound like it dosent im thinking you are biased or something against nintendo resolve your issues dont go saying stuff you dont even know about the last couple of days of console news have been filled about wheter the Wii Composite HD cables will be avalible on 17th of november and if they are only for sale online.
I think you should go back to the Plastation 2 and 3 forum

The Opera browser is free for at lest the first 6 months.
But I think that's lame.
I also think that most of my internet time will be done on my computer anyhow. But I wish Opera was pre-loaded and permanently free. That would be nice.

Umm....so..
Its only what $5 worth of Wii points anyaways even if it were $10 so to tightass to pay $10 but you people who said it can pay what $999au for a Playstation 3 wii is only 400au and does not include the browser but adding $10 wont match the PS3 price will it the PS3 In my point of view sounds like its made of gold when its 1grand is it? and do not say the blu ray and cpu remember the ps2 that was 700au at launch and had dvd support which is like blu ray now and had a fast cpu

It will support 480i and 480p. Neither is an HD signal.
Component cables can carry interlaced and Progressive signals, but just because a device has component outputs it doesn't mean it can output an HD signal.(a regular DVD player for example)
You should calm down dazila and reserve some of your comments. A fact was given earlier, not a biased opinion. Anyway, you seem like the most biased in this thread with your Mario sig and your quickness to accuse. Don't worry about the opinions people may have about this system, you should feel content playing with your wee wii.

I have to agree with ddp on this one, dazila has lots of useful facts; but I prefer to keep to *just* the facts.
As for the browser costing money, I would guess that they are not planning on charging a lot, after all, Opera won't make any money if no one is willing to buy it. As for the PS3, if they charge five to six hundred dollars here, it had better come with a browser, lol. Besides the Wii comes with Wii Sports, which is already a nice pack-in, not to mention free online play.
I'm sure he's not too far off, honesty. As for the browser being free the first six months, a lot of sources are saying that; so it probably has some truth, but that's a big probably.
The 480p thing has (unfortunately been confirmed), and that's the max games will support, according to Nintendo's press releases, although that could change too; because the original processor speed has changed since the original stats. It seems to be in a good way, but it's a change no less.
I'm just hoping we can keep to the interesting facts, and hold off any angry rants, etc. A lot of the people on here try very hard to keep from fanboyism, and that makes these threads really good. I hope it continues, regardless of which system we like.
