Hello people, Find myslef in need of some help I have a D-link wireless router hooked up to my cable modem and hardwired to my desktop computer working normal, however My laptop with an internal nic card wont even detect this router at all...Iam lost as to what the problem could be. In my house I have 2 wireless router connections one is upstaris and one downstairs the laptop will only connect to the router upstairs although I've tryed everyting I can think of I would like to connect to this D-link router and finding it impossible. Any suggestions, insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

He_Man, a g series is backward compatible with an a or b series routers or even a n series. sounds like a configuration problem.
